We are looking for a Point Person or two to lead up Safe Families at our church. Safe families is a national movement of compassion that gives hope to families in crisis. A NEW 4 week Adult Sunday School Class is starting April 7. The topic will be Ray Vander Laan’s new series Cultures in Conflict. The series takes us back to look at the apostle Paul and learn lessons on how to engage a culture where the worldview conflicts with Christianity. If you have any questions contact Joe Veldstra or Anne Anthony at 209-968-9606.

SAFE FAMILY MEETING after church in The Upper Room on Sunday, March 31st. There you can hear more information about Safe Families or if you are ready to dive in and start training to be a host family, we will have sign ups available! Please look in your mailbox for more information Sunday the 31st!

IMPORTANT NURSERY UPDATE: We wanted to make everyone aware that beginning this Sunday, March 24th, a new child checkout process will be implemented to ensure the continued safety of all our little ones! Parents, you will receive a laminated animal shape when you sign in your child. This animal shape has to be returned to the nursery check in counter and given to the nursery greeter or a nursery helper before your child will be released. If someone else will be picking up your child, please ensure they have the animal shape. We realize this is one more thing to keep track of, but please bear with us! This change will be temporary as the church will be transitioning to a computerized check in system over the next several weeks, so stay tuned for more updates! If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to a nursery committee member!

Thank you! – The Nursery Committee
