Children

At Escalon CRC, our hearts are filled with joy for children. If you have are thinking of visiting and you have young children, please come join us. Our halls are filled with wonderful noise of children every Sunday!

Infants and Toddlers

We have 3 nurseries available for children ages 0-2. One nursery is for those children under age one, one for ages 1-2, and one for age 2. This allows for each age group to be cared for in an appropriate manner.

We understand that it can be nerve-wracking to leave your children in the care of others. We strive to make safety our first priority. When you drop your child off at nursery, they will be checked in electronically via our secure app. You will be provided a tag and a pager. Simply return these after the service and our volunteers will check the tag before releasing your child. Each nursery has multiple adult volunteers at all times and no volunteer is ever alone with a child.

little lambs and children in worship

Children ages 3 through kindergarten attend the beginning of the worship service with the entire congregation. They are then are dismissed during the service to our little lambs program (age 3) or children-in-worship (age 4-kindergarten). These allow the children to learn about God in age appropriate manners. The children are always accompanied by more than one adult at all times.

Little lambs provides a story time and play/craft time centered around the Bible lesson for that day. Children-in-worship provides a worship time that is tailored to the children’s age group.
